on my old 200s we took an old freez plug from an engine and welded it in the muffler and drilled 3 holes in it it was real quiet.

screw a plate on to the end with a smaller oppening than the muffler. All it takes to git 'er did

maybe just a little bit but in your sistuation i would just be happy to ride a quiet littl powerless trike than a loud powerfull trike.

idk, you could do some fab work to yours, but I would just find a used stock pipe for cheap then you can have two different pipes to choose from when you ride in town and when you go out on a trail, thats what I did on my 200x

i just let the cops keep coming, after about 6 times they told the lady that was calling them to not bother it was a waste of their time....that was like 8 years ago and i haven't seen them at my door for that reason since ;)

I welded on a washer that has a hole just the right size for a beer bottle cap(I got plenty of those) ,then I can poke holes in the cap and remove it easy

... i have heard that you can stuff steel wool in the end. anybody heard of that? i have heard of that personally i dont know if it works or not
you can also cover the end of the exhaust with a shop rag or towel and that will quiet it down a little, as long as the exhaust gases dont back up into the engine and stall it.
