got this wheeler in this morning.
its an '85 200s.
it has a very interesting electric start kit.
its not a home fab job, as the housing has cast lines and has not been ground or welded.
the shifter is designed to extend out beyond the extra housing as well.
on the battery box, it has a solenoid, and the starter button mounts on the handlebars.
any insight to who made this or anything else for that matter, lemme know.
its the first one ive ever seen, and i thought id seen it all over the last 20+ years of owning wheelers.
enjoy the pics

You sure about that? Maybe the 185 & 200 kit is the same. I know 200xbasket (or whatever the heck his username is?) Had a 200x with one of those on.
Anyone else remember that???

thta is a nice bike,
i seen them for a 350x in magazines when i was young.
you dont realy need one for that bike those motors start easy. it must of been a old mans bike.
I know a old guy with only one leg , he got hid left leg shot off in the war. so he put a suiside shifter on his big red. I think the bigred is electric start from teh factory.
that thing you got is a Goki.
it would sell in 2 seconds on ebay.if you did not want it.
I would think about puting one on a 350x. if you have ever kicked on a 350x that did not want to start until you phisicaly puke, you would know what i mean. I have wanted to just push a 350x off a cliff before.
I very old fried of mine cracked his head open and died on a 350x i baught off ebay.

They used to have a 200x kit but it is discontinued because it did not perform as well as they wanted. The 200x kit is different then the 185 and 200 kit. I there is a post around here with a bunch of info on the 200x kit, someone called and talked to the people at Goki and got the info that way if I remember right.

I thought it did perform up to task but there was a sertain leak that was very difficult for them to fix somewhere and didn't want to waste R&D money on it.
I doubt they made to much on the 200x kits anyways.
I dont wan't to be starting any rumors or anything so don't quote me on that
