Got my new stator on it last night, put new oil in it this morning, had a small carb problem that I fixed, and the thing cranked 3rd kick! Its running ultra ultra lean so I haven't ran it too much (Probably because no airfilter or muffler for it yet) I've got to go to town after lunch and get some bolts to go in the carrier, as its a little on the loose side and I don't wana fry my case the first hour it runs :P

I did putter around a bit, and man, it'll be so good when its done. Its not near as tippy feeling as I thought it would be, its actually pretty stable. Clutch worked good, I need to adjust my compressions release, take my exhaust header off and put in those round copper washer things that go in the exhaust ports (Header isn't sealing good) and A few other misc things before I really start riding it (Including rear brakes and an airfilter). I will say this, gotta have new sprockets, this thing is geared insanely high! I was going in first gear 1/4-1/2 throttle and it was about as fast as second on my R in the same throttle posistion.

It definetly needs some carb tuning done on it (Probably won't be as bad after the exhaust is done up right along with the air intake system) But it runs, and it cranks pretty easy too. Get Ready guys, a monster will be at Haspin :D :D :D :D :D

I just came from back over at the shop, so far I've ran it around 6-7 times. All for short periods, still trying to kind of break it in. I got a 350X stock muffler on it, I have a few leaks that I need to work on but no biggie. Its a bit of a pain to try and kick it with the bend in the pipe right there now, but Its ok. I think later down the road I will try and make a custom frame hugger deal that'll be good and still give my foot room to stay on the kicker.

Also, Its very interesting to try and hold the twist throttle open to keep it running (Haven't adjusted my idle yet) and try and set the fenders on and line them up with one hand :D  Its very interesting to say the least.

Re-adjusted the valves, made a big difference in how it was running. Both were a little on the tight side. I didn't get to go to town and get those bolts for the carrier, so its still lose. There is one holding it in but thats not really enough. It did jump the rear sprocket once already so I've gotta be extra careful. I'm fixing to get on DK or Rocky Mountian ATV in a few minutes and checkout some sprockets. The ones that are on it are kind junky.

Runs like a raped ape though, I had it up to 3rd and it was moving pretty well.

Yes, Tomorrow the Agenda is....

Break the chain and take a link out to pull up the slack
Steal some 350X rear brakes out of my mini bone yard in the barn
TRY and work on my CR500 inverted forks and get them put together
Figure out an idea for an airbox (Probably end up going with something small and aluminum)
