major improvment with Force 3 reeds on my 250r

Wow! i just installed some new force 3 reeds on my 85 250r that i bought for 130$ and i feel at least a 20-25% increase through the power band. anyone tried these yet? i think this is a great investment.:p

20% increase? I don't think reeds increase your horsepower very much, they just give you better accelleration.

Agreed, you didn't gain horsepower really, but you harnessed it right and the acceleration is far more crisp then it would have been before.. The top end is the same, it will tend to scream a lot more then too

It really depends on what reeds he was using before, and what condition they were in...

I have the Boysen 2 stage Pro reeds and using stock cage. Major improvement on crisp throttle response over stock.
Gets it to the power band very quickly.
