Well actually a friend of mine bought this and right now it in my garage. We went to look at it after we saw an ad on Craigslist. Not bad shape at all, didn't run so we talked him down to $290.00. Brought it home cleaned the carb (it was that gunked up I had to pry the slide out) and fired right up after 2nd pull. Needs brakes, tires and a seat cover, but in all good shape for the price. Rear fenders have one small crack on the side and the gas tank in perfect NO rust at all! It has a Hondaline trailer hitch and we already replaced the tailght lens. He should be joining the forum soon.

I think you and your bud got a great deal. I have a seat that I am 99.9% sure is for a 200s in pretty good condition. Let me know if your interested.

Must be a regional thing. A 200S in average to good and running condition will bring maybe 200 bucks here. Not that you got a bad deal because you didn't. 3 wheelers just don't bring anything around here anymore because they are of no use to anyone, except me.

Oh man I had contacted that guy from the Lancaster PA craigslist ad just a few days ago and told him I would take it if he still had it when I return from college in a week and a half. He said a bunch of people had contacted him....looks like you beat me to it....good deal you got. Congrats and have fun with it.

When it comes down to it, its who you know. I got my 84 for $300, and it was just shy of mint. The fender had a small crack in it, and the rear brakes needed attention. It ran like a top, and looked like it was brand new!
I just stumbled across a good deal. Knowing more info now, I would have been ready to spend a good $500-600 on it.

I picked up a 86 200S about a month ago. it needs a set cover, cracks in the fenders. but tires are good runs great, fortunately the guy just wanted to get rid of it. I paid 250 for mine, I even got a title for it! I even went and transfered it into my name. Jim
