hi, today someone told me that with a 2-stroke u have to rebuild the motor like atleast once a year? is this true?..also what do u think the value of the wheeler is?

:rolleyes: yeah and i had a friend that rides dirt bikes say they should be rebuilt every 30 hours. My 250r is running on a 24 year old piston. Just depends how hard you run them really

doesn't hurt to spend 40 bucks every year n a half for new rings, but i've never went that rout, driver till theres something wrong!! lol

That So Called Friend told you the motor has to be Re-Built once a year & he wants to buy it really bad for $50 bucks ....

Doesn't Sound like a very good Friend ...

It really dosent depend on how you ride it, it depends on how you take care of it in regaurds to how long it will last. If all the bolts are tight, the jetting is right, and your mixture is good you can pound and pound and pound on these machines. They are meant to be run hard YAMAHONDAMAN



Oh, and with a 2 stroke, dont run at wide open throttle to long, its not good for them.
