81/82 250r number plate?

I seem one on a R on ebay about a week or two ago. It looked like a factory number plate and mounted to the fender the same as the light frame does. Anyone know for one? Also where can I get me a whip like ye guys have in the dunes to mount the back of my R?

Brockey, got a link to that R on ebay with the plate? Aussieduner is making wide plates like the one I have on my T3 that will be out in a while.

Any place like Hondaone in St.John's can get you that whip flag. You will need a place to mount it on your grab bar if you don't already.

You keeping the R? You should, they are mean! Some gearing changes and it'll stay with some newer quads. All out speed isn't everything, make it a solid trail rider and enjoy it.

Ya it looks like I might be keeping it. I wants to make a cooler rack for the back once I get the sizes of them. Whip, number plate or headlight casing. I have a pic of the bike on ebay saved so if I decide to go that route I will have to post it up. I love the number plates but I do lots of night riding so I figure I might have to get the casing. I'll have to go see Terry. Glad to see your keeping yours aswell. How bout the dirtbike?

The Honda 250sx headlight looks nice on the older R's. I'll get you the dimensions of my six pack rack some day this week or the wkend, whenever I get down to Jean De Baie next.

The dirtbike is being sold again, can't swing it.
