i believe that the tranny uses the motor oil, so when you put in moto oil, it fills the tranny. also, you may be asking about the raer end? put in 80w gear oil in the rear end of the shaft, where the ring and pinion are. some may ask for hypoid gear oil, but i don't know if there is a difference.
your right, the rear end! sorry. :D but thanks for the reply!

haha, i know nothing about large engines, but i have rebuilt my brothers car. ive torn a 110 apart 4 times, and a 200 1 time, so i know alot about em, except for the electronics, which i am trying to get down. i have also torn apart plenty of briggs engines, and fixed half em. the other half, well, were rusted tight, and burnt up.
i like small engines, just dont know much

i like em too because they dont weigh a lot, and they aren't complicated. btw, do you have AIM?

I like small engine because when they don't work you can pick them up and throw them at things! Like the garage window or your parents new caddy.........

I threw onof the little tecumshed flad heads down the yard once, addimittedly it didn't go very far but as the ground was wet it made a nice hole in the lawn, I now remember that everytime I hit that hole with the riding mower and the front axle bends......
