89 250R clutch update kit

Just wondering if someone knows where the washer in the 89 update kit goes......
I picked one up for my 86 250R, and I assume it goes between the bearing and the cover. Is this correct?

I can't remember but I think when I did it I just looked up the parts diagram on service honda for the 1989 trx 250R to figure it out. It should be exactly the same thing that you're trying to put together.

i put mine between the cover and the bearing it looked like that was where it went

I'm pretty sure that's where it goes, so you aren't wearing on the cover.
I looked on a parts fische. but it didn't show the washer. Might have to check at the dealer, and see what their fische looks like.
I just don't wanna put it together wrong.
