185 Lifan? Help Please.

Does Lifan or anyone else make a replacement engine for a 185? I have an old 185 that quit running about 4 years ago and I would rather put a new complete unit in it than spend lots of money to try to get the old one running (smoked, did not shift right, spark came and went, basically just needs everything). Thanks for your help.

upright 200 should bolt right in; buy the wiring kit as well it will save you a ton of grief when redoing the unit

I don't think a picture would do any good, they just pretty much look like an atc185 engine. All the ones I've seen are painted silver. Don't recall seeing any in chrome. I think you also have to make sure that it is either a kick start or an electric start engine. I've seen them both ways.

I think a Honda 200 motor would be the way to go, or just rebuild the one you have.
