Ok guys I have a leaky magneto side crank seal. Today a wire on my stator parted off and while fixing it I noticed the mixture in the mag cover.
All I need to know is will this leak kill my stator if left unchecked?

sometimes condensation can build up in there...that MIGHT be what you saw
250rs are notorious for that

Oil wont kill your stator -- my XL175's stator housing is meant to be filled about 1/2 way up with oil. If anything it will reduce friction and cool the hot electrical components.

I know this much, it's a good way to run lean at WOT. It will push residual oil in crankcase out, and pull air through as well during cycle. Moose main bearing an seal kit. Roughly $55. Siezed engine, you know the story.

^^^^ Yep. The serious danger from a left side crank seal leak is an unnoticed lean condition killing the engine.

oil in a 2 stroke stator area can fry the stator. the stator is meant for air cooling, not oil cooled like 4 strokes. they are built differently. i have burnt lighting coils on my lt500r, from oil coating the coils.
you have to split the case on a tecate to change the seals. which i personally think sucks!
