well the on the day of 4/07/07 i was working on the front end. i am putting a 1984 200m front end on my 1984 200s so i can put a 25 inch tire in the front too. but i found out i am missing the axle spacer and the brake assembly off the 200s wont work on the 200m. so i need one of them too. well i have one but its rusted too much to do anything with.


ooo yea and my recoil broke. again !!!!!!!!!!!!

looks like i wont be riding for a long time. i have too much to fix and not nearly enough cash.

You can run the front wheel without the brake drum. Just find the brake drum pieces when you can get them and install the brake drum later. As for the spacer, just find you a close fitting piece of pipe, drill out the center as close as you can and cut to length. Poor mans spacer. Get the proper bits when you can find and afford later. Hope this helps to get you riding!

yea i think i may just do that. i just started looking at my recoil and its not good. everything inside it is a destroyed. stupid honda for putting a stupid ars retarded recoil on an 200cc engine. i could see if it were a backup but its not. its the only way to start this thing. ive tryd to push start it and it wont. im just about ready to give up on triking and do something else. i spend more time fixing the stupid recoil than i do riding the trike.

i may do what my brother did and get a moto4 at least it will start and move. sure mine starts and moves very well but each recoil rebuild i get is only good for 3 or 4 starts and each cable/rope i get is good for 2 starts. o have spent more on recoils and recoil parts than i did for the mods and trike all together. that aint no lie either. it has had around 6 or 7 total rebuilds and have has cable/rope put in about 14-16 times. and not to mention the 5 cages i put in the stupid thing.

put in a lower compression piston or get a thicker head gasket to lower the compression. Hopefully that will save the pull starter. There is a reason why honda did not put very high compression pistons in these things.

you could always put a 200x bottom-end with kicker in rob, when ya get the cash together that is and hey i haven't got a message back on the X but its cool cause i found a 85 T-3 for $175 plus that car. It needs a stator and flywheel which is no biggie. WHHOOOO HOOOO

if there is to much compression, put a 200m or e head on it with manual decompression. flip a switch. easy they bolt right up.

im planning on getting a 200x bottom end but it wont be until i get some cash saved. i could put a valve cover on it from a 200s or 200m and so on but again i am broke. i have the one off my 200s but its all messed up from when the cam seized up. not to mention for some reason the decompression didnt work. it would go over fine but it did nothing thats why i took it off.

lol yea. i have 2 200s bottom ends 1 in my tike now and a spare out in the garage. the one out in the garage is complete but most of the pieces are in a bucket rite now. if i find a working 200x bottom end i will put my bottom ends on ebay or on here.
