Well the 200es projects has started. I grabed the best looking one to work on first....so I thought! Well I am stripping it down and boy is she rough and full of mud. I dont know why, but I guess my projects always seem to be major major projects and not just minor plastics and clean up. Well this is going to end up to be a ground up fix (I would say restore but I highly doubt it will be nice). I hope to get it up and running in 3 weeks. Am I dreaming? No I havent heard the motor even turn over yet either, I had to find the motor under all the mud first, lol. I had to start somewhere.
Enjoy.

I hope you have your own sand blaster. Looks like some new paint is in order. How are the front forks? Those seem to be the trouble spot on these.

I am going to attempt to restore this one to good running condition with all new brakes, levers and cables. I might use parts from the other one if needed to make it complete. Then I will see whats left on the other one. Then I will know if it needs way too much, I will just part it out.

That looks like a fun project. I bet that Tennessee clay has added some challenges. All in all though, it looks as though it is worth the effort. I sure am glad they found themselves in good hands.
