I need new bearings for the steering stem. I found them at Service Honda and Parts Fish.....but they are pretty expensive. I have bought axle bearings and seals from a local bearing distributor, but have no idea what to ask for for the steering stem. Anybody know what size they are....I know they are IR, OR, and balls.....or a good place to buy them?

I think I seen steering bearings in dennis kirk. Try www.denniskirk.com and see if you can find them. The '85's have loose balls, and I think this upgraded them.

Thanks. I found them at Dennis Kirk. $36 bucks for a set of tapered rolloer bearing drop in replacements. Has anybody used these? How do they stand up against the inner race, outer race, and ball type bearings? Also, how do you adjust the nut at the top of the stem?
