well the 200x was running great today then i get home and eat dinner go out side to continue riding and it runs pretty good then jsut dies and now when i got to kick start it. i'll be kicking it then it'll kick back real hard and i cant get it to start. any ideas?

Run out of gas??? It woud be the easy solution.
check for fuel and spark.

My guess is, choke the heck out of it. Then pop the plug to see that your getting good fuel flow to the plug. Dry it off and replace. Adjusting valves usually makes starting easyer. Also adjusting your carb might help.

yea ok so i choke it all the way and it dont even pop (the motor is warm by the way) and then i take the choke all the way off and it pops and kicks back. how hard is it to adjust valves or would it be better to take it to someone who knows what there doin ?>

what year x?? if its 86-87 they are a cake walk.. but idn about 83-85... in any case, just about anyone can handle valve adjustment...

Im betting your plugs burnt out, My 200s does this all the time

hey dooner17 was your plug just really black and wat would cause it to burn out just a long day of riding or no?
