Fabricating a battery system?

Hey all,

I'm considering installing a battery in my 84 YTM200L to run additional electrical components.

Anyone ever done such a thing before? How did you do it? I was thinking I could fit a small 12v motorcycle battery under the air box...

Any thoughts?

i don't know about charging but you could probably fab a tray to weld or bolt in and recharge it with a battery charger but it would be a small reserve so you wouldn't be able to run to many things or if its not a real nice trike you could weld a pulley to the axle and find a way to mount an alternater from a car then run a lawn mower belt to run it. but these ideas are hillbilly fixums and should not be done to an even remotly decent trike.

You could also always use duct tape! LOL
