Geez Kyle did it ever occur to you that maybe your Yami had been beat before you got your hands on it? Joe, if the trike is in good shape, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. Don't know if I'd pay 550 but that's up to you.

I paid $400 for my Tri Moto 200, and all it really needed was the carb cleaned (didn't run), and new tires (they were rotted). I think $550 is a decent price. They are pretty good machines, and I beat on mine pretty hard sometimes. Still runs good.

i only paid $75 for my old 200tri-moto,it ran good and had new tires(this was 1 of those once in a lifetime deals though)but i would buy it if i were u,try to talk him down a bit though, the ytm200 is a great machine, very reliable, the only thing that ever went wrong(and i found out this happens on all of them)is the chain popped one day when i was showing off and put a nice size hole in my engine sidecover(look for a hole or welded hole on the back of the side cover right in front of the engine sprocket)if its been welded make sure it was a quality job because those sidecovers are discontinued, but thats the only problem i had(until my rings went,it was my fault though)and it smoked really bad,but i swear to god it would still start on the first pull, even after sitting all night!,they are great machines!,good luck getting yours -D

I have had a TriMoto125 for 20 years, and never had a single problem with it. Most bikes are excellent with being reliable, they just need to be taken care of properly. If you don't change the oil and forget about the air filter, well you will have a bad running machine, and it's not the machines fault it doesn't run right.

Just my 2 cents...

i have a 225 and it is more reliable than my 110. i believe that yammies can easily compete with hondas. my 225 always starts with a tap of the starter button.they also have plenty of power, and they handle well.
