I got a lot of excellent feed back on my last thread for ideas on raising the trikes high enough to work on. It is hard bending over to work on them. I think my idea far exceeds everyone elses though. I decided to train my kids to do it for me so I can stand by the beer fridge. You gotta admit, you can't get any better than this. Kimberley is 12 yrs old and had the yamaha almost torn down to the frame in 2 1/2 hours. She really got right into it. She's also my hunting buddy when she's not grounded. Lee is 9yrs old, and loved to get down and dirty. He also got the trike almost completely torn down. Then, there's Kyle. He's 7yrs old and is my controls specialist. He took out all the lighting, electronics, cables, levers, handlebars, rear brake caliper on the yamaha. Not bad for 2 1/2 hours of work EH! I couldn't keep up with them. I usually had one of them waiting for something to do while I was still showing another what to do. But due to excellent supervision, and step by step instructions, they passed with flying colours. It was difficult showing them what to do and explaining to them why with a BEER in my hand , but I got though it. My oldest daughter Meghanne was at path finders (Girl Scouts), so I got to get her on it tomorrow. The wife also said she's coming out to the garage to help us all out tomorrow. I'll make sure I get pics of that. I'll get her to pull the engines off the bikes:twisted:
Yeah, that sound like a plan. No more back pains, sore knees, or cut up fingers for me. My workout consists of 12 oz. weights, 224 per case. I got to go out and get me another case of beer and a laser pointer. My finger got sore today. So what do you think guys. Am I smart or what!!!!!

The 12 oz. curls are some of my favorites. Sometimes, I can do 3 sets of 12 :D
Really though, it's great to have the kids help out with a common interest.
See.........besides having quality family time together, it makes less work for you, also.;)
