What to do when the THUMB give's OUT ? ? :wondering

I been having problems with the Thumb Giving out going up Hills and hard trails ...

What can i do to improve ?

when possible i'll pull the clutch and hold the rear brake and REST Few Minutes ...

Any tips would help Big time ...

I would definately lube all my cables... sounds like you just have a hard throttle... All of mine take very little effort to hold in... Start there, you also might have a damaged cable or linkage peice

Do you have midget finders??That could be a problem too.:D They sell thumb extensions to make it esier to hold the thumb throttle. But I think the above post is a good start.

hey, don't use your thumb, squeeze the throttle with your whole hand.

I've never had trouble with thumb problems, lube and check to see whats going on.

Screw it , buying a new OEM throttle Cable !

I would open the throttle box, and inspect it before I buy anything... your cable might be fine, maybe a nut or plastic bushing is just worn out... something to check, and its free knowledge

When my thumb craps out my palm backs me up.

I put the thumber in my palm and lay into it. A thumb extension would also be great.
