Hi guys, iam new here and i got a few questions for you. I have been looking for a 350x for a while and now i found one. Its a 85, only thing that has been done to it is new seat cover, fork boots, and a new clutch. He wants 2500$ CDN (about 2100 US $) is that a fair price? I was told that there was only sold 2000 350x's in Canada in 85-86, where can i get that info. This is the first one i have seen for sale around Alberta so i don't think there is a lot of them. Also if anybody have a 350x for sale around Alberta i am verry interested. Thanks for any help.

Not sure about the prices in Canada but for $2100 it would have to be a really nice one around here. Average prices around here are 1300 - 2000 depending on the condition of the trike.

Here is a 350X for sale, you might be able to talk the guy down to $1800, and spend $200 on gas getting there and back, and you will have a nice trike for around $2000?

I paid 800 US for one on e-bay, and picked it up in Montana.
Easy to import one form the US if you can find one, and the prices are better too.
Where are you in Alberta?

Because their rare around you, it might be worth that much. Whats the overall condition?
Does it smoke? shocks? bearings? plastics?
If its in great condition, I would say pick it up. Lowball him on it. Start around $1800(US) and work your way up if needed.
Oh and welcome to the boards! Do you have any other trikes?

I just paid $250 for a running one with a 393 big bore. It needs some carrier bearings and a chain and sprockets, but it's really not a bad three wheeler. I would say that 2100 is a lot, but it's still probably cheaper than any four wheeler (and a lot more fun to ride).

I live around Drumheller. Did you have it shipped to Montana or was it for sale there?

It looks good, all plastic is original, i just saw it one day and he called me a week later with a prise so i haven't heard it run yet. I will think about it again and maybe see if i can get one from the states. And thanks for all the replies guys.

It was in Helena, MT. The guy brought it to the border and I met him inside the US. We did the deal and I brought it back to Canada.
