Ok so i got it and it smoked bad. Well i did a whole top end build on it and gaskets ect. Now Its semi broken in, and it still smoked like crap. It has good compression starts on first kick, revs up till about 3/4 throttle then just bogs and smokes even more. Now my mix is at 32:1. It has no mods other than a uni filter, and i guess the guy that had it before me changes the main jet to a 150? So my question is its the stock reeds im sure there bad. Would the 150 main jet make it have no top end power and smoke bad or would bad reeds do this? Im really upset spending 210$ on a rebuild and it dident even solve my problem. Any help would be great thanks guys.

Ok let me refraze. It smoke like a house fire, like when i go down teh street at like 20mph if i look back the whole street will be filled with smoke, and my mix is at 32:1 so the mix is not rich, but i thinking its getting to much gas and mayking it rich? I know 2 strokes smoke but this is like the smoke as to what 20 2 strokes would make on start up.

Try dropping down on the mains a little and keep doing plug chops to make sure you don't get too lean.

does anyone know the main jet size stock? I think maybe teh guy before went up way to high and tahts why it smokes, maybe not i ono. i think it says 150 but its kinda mashed so i cant tell. Also what also make me beilive the jet is to big is that when t he bike is running out of gas it revs up super high and out of control and sounds crisp instead of the boggy sound when it has gas.

You might be sucking in oil through the crank seals or gasket.

New gaskets. Maybe crankseals. How would i check that? The crank seems good though very tight no play in it. But when i spin the crank with the rod with the head off really fast it does seem kinda lubercated with oil maybe thats my problem. Is that hard to change? Expensive?

As a general rule - 2 topends to every bottom end.

Yes the lower end is alot of work and will cost you some bucks. 2 main bearings, seals, gaskets - check the clutch and make sure every tranny bearing is smooth and every gear lug is in good shape along with the shifting drum.

Easy motor to split but still quite a bit of work.

sounds like crank seals or center case gasket to me. You need to build and use a leak down tester on it. Try google for more info on a leak down tester.

Crank seals are rather cheap. Did you torque up the center case bolts correctly?

ok this is weird, i can go like 3/4 throttle fine butnot full or it bogs and smokes bad. Now i dident think this thing had any power but when it runs out of gas and is burining upthe rest in the bowl for some reason this beat comes alive nice crisp sound super fast nicce power band kick and doom it dies to lack of gas, what the heck is up with this?

sounds very much like the same problem I had with my 86R , my 86 R would run like crap when I bought it , no power like it was getting to much fuel and when I shut the fuel off from the tank and waited a few seconds it would sound nice and crisp until the carb bowl ran dry then it died of course , would do this every time I turned the fuel off so I messed with allot of different sized jets tried a couple different carbs ran it with out the air box tried a stock pipe but nothing helped so I decided the next thing to try was new reeds and that ended up being the problem and it now runs great , don't know if this is your problem but the symptoms sound the same although I don't remember mine smoking
