I'm hard at work in my shop all the time now. The kids come in and help too. The wife said she will too, I'll have to wait and see about that. The only oil she's ever gone in contact with is canola oil. No use for that in this garage. Except maybe to fry chicken wings beside a case of beer while working on the trikes. :beer I used to race my YZ80 back in high school. I haven't touched anything since then. That was 25 years ago. I'm getting old, but I feel young again when I see my garage in this state, and my hands full of grease from something that I own instead of work. I don't know why I didn't do this any sooner, except because my wife and I had 4kids. Well, she tells me they are mine. I'm still waiting for the paternity test. It's nice to feel young again. I just wish I could bend over easier to fix something.

For some reason, grease and grime always feel better on your hands when you enjoy sticking your hands in it.............and it surely isn't at work:D
I have the problem of working on the floor, so I made a multipurpose rec-vehicle jack out of a floor jack.
It works out nice cuz I can lift my streetbikes, my sleds, and 3 and 4 wheelers with it.

I hear ya. I didnt own a trike till last year now I got three. I could spend all my spare time in the garage mess'n with 'em. I dont know alot about 'em, but I like learning, and if I dont know I can ask here. concrete is not good for the knees either.

oh i do the bend and squat thing too, sometimes i set my bike on a five gallon bucket. i have my little "husky" tool box/fold chair thingy that comes in handy itell yah. so day though, i will have a nice work bench area i can bring the bike right up on. as for the wife, she helps sometimes, but for the most part that help is going back and forth to the fridge to get me a beer :beer .

Well she won't get me a beer cause its 10 feet from the trikes. I made sure it would be easy to get at. I've got a bunch of aluminum extrusion theat I permanently borrowed from work. I think I have to design something to get the trikes higher up in the air. I don't think I should hang the bike from the rafters as my oldest daughter's bedroom is right above the garage. I don't want her to come crashing down on the trikes. I got enough to fix as it is.
