Powder coating a 200x frame

I am tearing my 85 200x down to the bear frame and plan on having it and all red metal parts powder coated. I have the paint code but was wondering if there was any method of matching the powder coating to the honda paint code or do you guess as close as possible.

Take a sample with you to the powder coater and match it to theirs. The paint code won't do you any good. I took a Maier tank shroud with me and got a spot on perfect match to that when I got my 200x frame done a couple weeks ago.

I just got back from my powdecoater yesterday-I totally agree, take a sample piece to them, I brought a Pilot frame to my guy-I also brought a rollcage bar that was painted the color I wanted -after some time they matched it to a "T"-they will have it-make him look, if he is a quality powdercoater he will have 3-4 different suppliers of powder-ie Eastern,etc he can match it for you.I am trying a new guy here in NJ called SBL powdercoaters, they are located in Toms River NJ look him up-Ask for Lou.
