questions on air coled 310Rs

A friend of mine picked up an 83 250r the guy that sold it to him said it was a 310. we are thinking of having the top end done on it and wanted to know, first how do we identify if it is really a 310 and where can we get pistons and gaskets for it. Do the air cooled 310s just have a bigger bore or did the stroke change too. when comparing the 83 "310" to a 84 250r we can tell that the head on the 83 "310" is much closer to the frame, the spark plug is hard to get out.

any info on these old air cooled 310s would be great

Looks liek one to me since it has horizontal and vertical fins and none angled.

thats a hondaline 300 kit. Not a 310. Good like finding parts for it :lol:

contact Vance at this place, he knows all about the hondaline kit, even though there rare he has all the parts and new parts for them, hes the best avaialbe for the hondaline parts, dont bother hunting around looking for parts elsewhere just contact this place and be done with it.

was the hondaline 300 kit just a bigger bore or did it have a differnt crank with a longer stroke? we just need to find a piston and some gaskets.

the 300 are actually kinda common that place does everything to those 300's when mine finnally goes im going to hit that place up for the works!

is it true they only have the 1st over piston for it,, this one has a somewhat new piston but would like some new rings..

no, the last over bore piston from honda is the only avail piston, vance said that they use a differnt piston for the motor than the honda pistons
