How do you guys remove the ugly maier decals that they put on the plastics? I used goo-gone on my 85sx and it took away the shine and left a dull spot. any input would be great

Drag your bike down to a self-serve car wash and blow them off with a high pressure spray gun. Worked well for me.

Those maiers are the worst to remove. I wish their fender quality was a good as there sticker quality.

I peel off, use goo-gone to loosen up the glue (never get it all off) and then polish with a plastic polish compound- novus #2. Only process that worked for me. The glue just moves around otherwise.

You could have someone hold em. The water will clean the stickers+glue and not hurt the shine any.:naughty:

:wondering nobody trusts me enough to let me shoot a pressure washer in their general direction  I guess i was too much of a prankster when i was little  I guess i'll try the wd 40 someplace where it wont be real noticeable and see how it works.
