I love the Pure Sports Bandits - Buy the XC or whatever most ply tire they have.

I also like ITP Holeshots...

Rockymountainatv has great package deals, be sure to buy the thickest rims...

Get some stock OEM ones, or 450r or 400ex tires. You dont want something too aggressive as you want the X to slide some, unless you are going to mud bog it haha.

I like my Kenda Knarly 20s. They can slide, but it takes some work and they work super in the woods. They clean out well and rarely get packed. I paid $172 to the door on Douglas .125s from Chapparal or RockyMtn...can't remember.

What kind of riding are you going to be doing? Sand, hard pack, rocky areas, mud?

Don't get too much sand around here. But the rocks, mountain trails and some mud are everywhere.

Need some tires that can be aggressive but can slide too. (I know I'm asking alot)

I have a problem with the front tire wanting to "plow" on me when I turn. Even when I whip the backend around, it still wants to plow.

get a more aggresive front tire my stock tire for my 83 R has plenty of tread but it pushed through the turns and I didnt like that , I replaced it with a ohstu H-track wich has some agreassive style lugs to it and now it handles GREAT! those fast tracker that I showed you will work great for ya!

Dammit!

Well if you have a lot of rocks you don't want 10 inch rims. They'll get dented up pretty quick. I'll agree with what a couple others have said about using stock tires off the newer quads. They're very good all around tires and you can usually find them cheap. I have 400ex tires I would use on my R that got surprisingly good traction. They didn't slide the best on hard pack though. Maybe some turf tamers would work well for you.

Yeah I basically had the same set up as you before and after (did you copy me or what haha);) .

The All traks were super aggressive and pulled like mad but they didnt slide alot. They were pretty good all around trail tires though cuz they had a stiff side wall and large lugs to keep from getting flats on roots and rocks.

I really like these. Their the new holeshot SR's, a bit on the pricey side, but they perform great! They will motor you through the trails with eaise, giving you the option to slide around.

These are size 21-11-9

I do alot of mountain trail riding too. Don't go with a 20" tire, especially if you run a PRM skid plate like me. I bought a set of original stockers (22's) for mine and love em. Not the best for high speed slides, but great for trails and hills.
