Yamaha trike with shaft drive and reverse?

I am going to go and look at a Yamaha trike that is shaft driven, it has reverse and electric start, what kind of trike is it? and also does it have rear suspension?And also, the guy says he has a new piston for it an rings, and the trike is completely taken apart(but all there), he is selling it for $200-$150, is that a good deal? Thanks for the help guys.

Sounds like a YTM 225DR, same thing as a 225dx but with reverse. If it is ok shape it should like a good deal.

It could be a 200 YTM.

Look in 3wheelerworld classified there is a 225DX just posted there 1/2 an hour ago $600.00 US. See if it looks the same as the one you are looking at. PS If you don't want it I would restore it, let me know what you are going to do.

True, I thought you said it has rear suspension, not does it have rear suspension. If it has rear suspension then it is a 225dr, if it does not have rear suspension then it is a YTM 200ERN.

Wow! I feel really stupid guys, i forgot to put in my post that they guy said it is a 200cc, sorry! I think i will get this before the Sasquatch, because with the Sasquatch I have to go to the guys door and ask if it is for sale, and I'm only 14 years old so nobody really takes me seriously. Also, is a 200ern a "Yamahauler"?

For $200 bones, I'd grab it especially if its running and its not crashed. But alas I am in texas and the good deals are above the mason-dixon line as usual.

Well I was going to go pick it up today and pay for it, but the guy said yesterday to phone him before I come just in case he needs to take off to work early, so I phone him this morning and he told me he sold it to the guy who came to buy his truck,,,some people really make me mad!
