Yes, I was expecting a top notch job but I was even shocked when it came out of the crate..the pictures dont do it justice... looks even better in real life. I am very impressed with his work

So OC, how is the showroom coming? Do you have an unveiling date set yet?

The showroom is pretty much finished except the flooring but it is being used as a big workshop to complete the current projects which will take some time to complete.

Over 800.00 in rotax parts, vintage looking satin powder, and zinc plating

So give us a rundown on what machines you have right now for your showroom, OC. I know you sold a few recently. Tell us what you have both finished and unfinished. I'm curious. :D

Hey Bill,
Looks nice on the dining room table ( LOL) . someone asked if its just painted up for show . I never do that on a restoration I have people ask for that all the time and i simply wont do it , every last part was dissasembled and the magnessium cases were stripped to bare then outgassesed in the oven to remove any oils and junk that is in the pours of the castings , then every mating surface and internal area had to be hand masked so the powder does not go where you dont want it , and i powder coated it with a satin black gives it that old school look then it was rebuilt using as many new parts as i could get my hands on I bought all the parts from Tony Murphy out in CA real nice guy and has alot of experience with these engines and helped me out alot with techincal specs etc , the rotax engine is very different than any Jap engine , has a rotary plate on the intake and is case inducted , all the shift pawls and drum are in the center case and it uses a shift shaft that goes through the kick start shaft , very funky setup took some time to get used to it they have real course trans gears and definitley built with quality I was big into snowmobiling years back and ski doos rotax engines could not be touched on the race track. cant wait to see that engine in the chassis , I saw bills setup last friday when i dropped off the engine all i can say is very very nice . I wont give any details bill i will let you do that . Now on to the next one the cagiva !!! Mike

He's LYING!!!!! It's obvious he found some secret stash of unused tiger Rotax engines and he just dosn't want anybody else to know about it!!!! lmao

Awsome work he did on that engine, should go well with the rest of your museum piece trikes!!!!
