 It was running then the choke cable broke (down by the carb.). I installed a new cable and now it wont start. Is there a adjustment on the choke cable.I ckecked the pilot screw and it was 1 1/2 turns out ,the book said it should be 2 turns out . I put it to 2 turns and it wont start now.How many turns should it be(the pilot screw)and is there something I did wrong with the choke cable. It snowed here today and I wanted to go riding. How do you get these things to run right(I did everything by the book) Any help would be great.
Thanks;svo58

did you check for spark?
what does a shot of starting fluid do for it?

I turned the pilot screw in to 1 1/2 it started and I went down the block and it bogged out and stalled. It started but when I put it gear it stalled. What could it be.I am ready to burn this P.O.S. .

Check for spark, it may not be strong enough to keep it running. May just need a new plug.

make sure its in neutral. they got a safety switch. Also, try the starter fluid, if it fires up with that. then you messed the carb up somehow, there no adjustment on the cable, but mine wont even run for 5sec with the choke on.

Check to see if your choke is not choking the carb.
