need pics of decompression cable mounts and linkages on 350x

hey all sorry to be a pain but i got a new decompression cable for my 350x, it already has the top cable mount (top of engine) but i dont have the one by the kicker on the side of the case so i am ganna try and make one due to the fact i can find one to buy. so i would really apreciate if i could get some good closeup pictures of someones, 350x decompression cable mounts top and bottom and also how it is suppose to be routed, i know this may be i stupid thing to ask but i need something to go off of in order to make one, once again thanks to anyone who can help me.

What exactly does that do? I don't think that mine is connected to anything at the bottom of my 350X.

it decompresses the engine. my 200s is suppose to have one. it makes it easier to kick/pull over.

no mine isnt hoooked up at the moment, it never has been, just makes em harder to kick over, im just trying to get everything working and in stock condition ( as much as possible)

I am pretty sure that both mounts for the decompression cable are discontinued by Honda. I have tried to purchase the complete setup at my local Honda Dealer and was only able to buy the cable. Sorry, I hope you have better luck finding new parts than I did. You can always look on E-bay, thats how I got mine, I paid $10 for a complete set-up. Then I just had them powdercoated chrome.

no actually i stand corrected, just got an e mail today saying that 2 of the items i ordered, 1 of them being the decompression cable mount has been discontinued, i wish it would have said that on the website before i went through the hassle of making an order, i just told them to cancel everything, im not putting up with that bull**** well now i dont know what im ganna go, guess i try and make one ughhh.

Hey, you should check Ebay. I know alot of people dont care for it but you might be able to find them cheap. It might just take a while to find what your looking for.

Are the mounta different on a 86 to a 85 and or can another year model bracket work say like a 86 trx 350?
