Max Towing: ATC250SX vs ATC250EX

Where does the gearing differ between these two? Is it in the rear ring & pinion or the gear box? And off hand does anyone know what the 250sx max tow rating is?

you mean SX and ES? ES can pull more because the rear end has a larger gear. first gear on the ES is supposed to be smaller too so it can haul better
