Hope this helps someone else..
I've found that JB weld is usless against fuel.
POR-15 has an great tank cleaner/rust remover but there tank sealer isnt very good at sealing pinholes.
Welding a rust bucket is very hard and doesn't hold up for as long as it should.
Do pressure test your tank before spending hours and hours painting it or you'll be pretty pissed when it has yellow stains and drips.

After having alot of problems with my leaky POS tank I took it to a radiator repair shop. Where they grinded out all the bad areas, soldered it up , and pressure tested it. I have to say they did great work and solder is so much easier to work with than weld. I used a file to shape the repaired areas and then sanded them down alittle. I didnt even need to use any body filler. I'll post some pic's of the finished tank as soon as I find my dang camera (i'm in the middle of unpacking).

If you guy's could post your TIPS here it'll help out everyone and be easier than searching through 50000 threads.
