Rear axle

for a 85 ytm200,how do i get that middle peice off so its just the axle?

apply plenty of penetrating oil and allow to sit and every now en again, apply more. afterwards, you may need to heat the inner bearing races with a small butane torch and than bump the axel out. good luck with it.

Don't hit the end of the axle with steel directly or you will mushroom the threads on the end. Put a block of wood in front of your hammer to protect the threads.
