Can someone help walk me through rebuilding this. I took a few pics when I was taking it apart but there are a few pieces in the rebuild kit I'm not to sure about.

Questions..

As you can see I took some pics..

Now, I need to know where the two rubber gaskets go? There is a clear plastic piece and a felt gasket on both sides, but I don't know where (or in what order those rubber gaskets go)

Also, there was no brown plastic piece in the new kit, so would this be the other clear piece to replace that or do i reuse the brown piece. (not sure if thats a filter or what.)???

Or does someone know where there is a good diagram of this? my manual (cd) and the bike bandit schematic only show the fuel pump.. not whats inside.

Ok, I think I figured this out. I put the two rubber gaskets on the two inner most spots, then the plastic pieces, then the felt gaskets towards the two outside cases. Does this sound right? :wondering

I had a heck of a time putting it back together and it took some real figuring to get that mounting plate on right. You can never take enough pics during disassembling that's for sure. does this look about right?

One thing I'm worried about is the bowl there on the bottom where the little orange filter is... Is that's all that inside there? Or is there supposed to be some sort of rubber oring as well? :wondering

didnt have time to wait for the pics to load, im on dial up!
sounds like its put back together right, there is a o-ring in the bowl as i rememeber
the old brown thing is the oem diaphram, the clear one on the other side had been replaced
i rebuilt mine with tear off googles, mine was done in 2003, no leaks so far!
the nut on the bowl is a 10mm., not a pair of vise grips!!:D

Yeah, I did a search but found nothing really useful. hopefully this will help some other guys in the future as well... Sorry for posting the pics this way for folks on dial up but it's easier to explain what I'm doing when I post them this way. ;)

Although now after sleeping on it I'm really starting to second guess myself as to if I have these gaskets in the correct order. starting from the inner most going out I have these gaskets in this order. Rubber oring, plastic bladder, felt gasket... (on both sides) I won't know for a while if this is correct because this is one of the first things I'm doing on my restore project. And I still have to put the whole trike together and still waiting on some parts. Is there a way to test this to make sure it's correct?

Also, Is it absolutly necessary to run this other on/off switch? (notice in this pic I have the mounting bracket backwards.)

NO you do not have to run the secondary switch.. Yes there is a black o ring in that little bowl that goes on top of the screen most of the time they get crushed from over tightening it... Use a O ring that goes in the end of a garden hose!!!! worked perfict on mine.

I'm not to sure about that as this pump didn't come with my trike. But I remember there was no kinda filter between the pump and the tank. I was going to put in where the second on/off switch went. (not even sure where that goes yet?!)

Can anyone post up some pics of how these gas lines and such run on the triz? This is the only pic I have of the pump with the fuel lines..

just by looking at the pump, there is 2 lines for an on postion and a reserve position. one goes to the tank and the little brass one is for the suction from the cylinder, and a hose plugs into the cylinder for that. the second on/off must take the 2 on postions from the pump and turn them into 1.

now i have never seen a triz fuel lne setup so i may be wrong. thats just how it looks like it should go to me.
