lookin at exhaust systems, i know there isnt much to choose from for the 350x but i wanted some opinions, im looking at the dg rcm systemfrom bikebandit.com, or the cobras i guess, i currently have the basic (black steel) cobra silencer but i think it still has the stock headpipe im not sure, but the baffles have broken loose instion and it drives me nuts cause u can hear it clattering around in there, so i want a new exhaust. like i say i like the crome cobra jet system as well as the dg rcm chrome system, but dont know which is better?? and also what type of re-jetting will i have to do to make them work right and not harm my trike. someone please help me.
thanks

put a supertrapp on it. thats the best pipe for the 350x. it has disks so it is tunable for bottom or top end

Welcome to 3ww. :welcome:
Most everyone likes the supertrapp. The Cobra's are loud so are the DG RCM's. I think overall the best is the supertrapp but I went with the Stage 3 DG xcellarator because it came with a head pipe and its not as loud. Alot of people use stock 450r pipes do a search and you will find lots of post about this. Good luck.

you could build a pipe like i did
if your motor is mostly stock you wont want 2 inch pipe like this but if you get the DG or the cobra you can always put a super trapp silencer on it

DANG Swigin Thats Hot! :Bounce
Is that all custom or did that head pipe start out being off of something else?
I just ordered the DG stage 3 excellerator. $294  But It hasn't showed up yet. I wanted to really go with the supertrapp but 275 plus finding another head pipe was just to much trouble. I figure I will run the stage 3 and if it sucks I can Egay it. :beer

it was a cobra header but i shortened it to hug the motor and made everything behind the 2 pipes

You could always do a 400ex exhaust conversion.....:beer http://i100.photobucket.com/albums/m14/thebutelr/117_9213.jpg

you might want to just make sure you dig the old ones out if you do
iv seen so many bikes with 2 or 3 stacked up

I know this is a old thread, but what mods need to be done to make this 400EX conversion to work??
