atc 70- been standing- dies when started

I just bought a new 70, that the guy has had running but then has been standing for a while. The pull starts not working atm, so i tried to bump it, it starts just about, then dies after after about 10 seconds. What do i need to do to get it going again?

If its been standing for over 3 months, drain tank and carb. Then fill with new gas. If its been a year or longer you need to remove carb and clean especially the 2 jets inside.

New Spark Plug's , Clean the Air Filter ...

Make sure the Gas Tank is clean & not Rusted out !

yep do all the above and also clean the fuel filter which is behind the fuel valve on the carb...
