a waste of money. FIrst its a yamaha and second it will be dull as heck in no time. If i was going to spend the time or money to polish the whole thing i would get it chromed and then forget about it.
It does look very good though. Did you have someone do it for ya? If you find some sort of good clear coat to use then let us know. I like polished parts but i hate trying to keep it polished. lol

I took it to the Chrome pit. I was going to have it chromed but they said its not good to chrome this type of aluminum and there is a good chance it would flake off. He said polish with high temp clear will be way better

Very nice. I cant even imagine how long that took to polish, i would never have the patience to do that.

When i used to have a blaster back in the day alot of things were polished and it never seemed to wear down too fast at all. Just never use any kind of harsh solvent to clean it. I always used a pressure washer and let it soak with some simple green. Then cleaned it with some tire foam, then when it started to fade a little I touched it up with some mothers mag polish.

WOW!!! Very nice.
I would love to live in Arizona or somewhere with dunes locally just to have an all sand machine. Stuff just stays so clean like that.

Yea. This one wont be seeing mud. I got an mx port but now I am thinking I want to make this a drag racer. Or a flat tracker haha. I have lots of time to think about it sine I probably wont have a roller for another year.
Took me over a year to get all the motor part gathered. I just bought parts when i had extra cash.
