i can try with out the cap but it gets good fuel i think its just getting too much fuel the plug is black and when i ajust the needle it idles high and wont idle down i just need to find where the sell mikuni jets and get a smaller one about the size of a stock 110 carb. who sells jets for mikuni carbs anyway?

well it kinda suck and pops out the carb im thinking its a bad intake valve now could it be that?
team-red-rider
03-15-2007, 08:02 PM
yep my 110s intake is bent too but is your 110 cdi? if so check under the cdi cover on the motor and flip that silver rectangular thing than try it if its been off since it last ran

also hey did u run that lifan yet ???? the wiring is the same as an atc 70 i checked
rugabugadouglas
03-15-2007, 08:22 PM
no i havent ran it yet i need a coil no its not cdi its points how did you know your valve was bent? mine runs but it gets loaded up or it seems to then you let it sit for a while and its better. you run down the road and as soon as you slow down your done for a while, mabey it has do do with it not going into gear good could be loading up the motor? i changed the clutch and all the inners but it still dies when you shift into gear unless you give the gass hell and drop it in gear

i should put my new carb on my 84 110 and see if it that i put the 84 carb on the 80 and it wouldnt run too well

ok. i knew my valve was toast when i took the head off lol
rugabugadouglas
03-15-2007, 08:44 PM
i had my head off when i rebuilt it and cleaned up one of them it was coverd with carbon and i might have messed it up then any good ideas on it deing going into gear? if you get it in gear sometimes it will chug down and you have to really work at keeping it going

03-15-2007, 08:50 PM
hmm it sounds like points maybe? have you checked them?
rugabugadouglas
03-15-2007, 08:52 PM
kinda they seem ok but i dont think it would cause it to die and load up with fuel would it?? i can change them i guess there cheap i might also check my timing again i used the old 6 volt battery trick but had to use a charger instead of a battery any good tips for checking timing?
team-red-rider
03-15-2007, 08:59 PM
timing sounds ok. i think its points truthfully
