I want to restore a 1985 200X and the tank needs a little body work and repainting. So, I need to know what color is the tank originaly? Can you get in a can?

I painted mine with the color that you would use when repainting propaine tanks. looks identical.

duplicolor white or pj1 white for hondas. Basically all the same to me, white is white, just as long as its bright and not a dull white.

Nope, there are alot of different whites, Someone who uses automotive paint should know the color code....

go to bike bandit and look up the tank for an 85 200x and in the description it will say what color white the tank is

Yep, I leanrned along time ago about white, I found Super white, Brilliant white, Appliance white, Gloss white etc etc and every dam one was different.
White is white but not to someone matching OEM white or trying to match their car paint.
I wonder what Sykolincoln uses on the tank he restores??

Most any auto paint store can shoot it with a paint matching gun to match it exactly.

Thanks For all the help, I think I will be able to find the correct color I need. I think this is one of the Happiest sights on the Web!!:Bounce I can't wait to get out the storage and share some photos this summer:beer
