Please Help

I have recently bought a 85' Handa 350X. It runs fine for a while and then will start bogging out and back firing. Then all of a sudden it starts running fine again. It will idle ine during all of this though. Sometimes it only boggs out for a few seconds but sometimes it does it for several minutes. I was told it was the spark plug or plug wire but have replaced those and it still does it. Any ideas?

Welcome to the boards......

try the following:
drain the gas and put new in - if you haven;t already

pull off the carb and thoroughly clean it (checks for clogged jets)

check all electrical connections
