Errr, uhmmmm there was this thing... Ahhhh, errrr I think they called it a mannnywell.
Anyhow, I could post here about the timing marks or TDC on the compression stroke and the valve lobes 180 degrees blah blah blah but why don't ya spend 25$ on the dam book? And then post a specific question?
As is - you don't even know what the cylinder base or head bolt torque is do you??

I'm glad everyone is nice. It is frustrating to me when people dig into a motor and not even know the torque specs......Then we have a motor with bent valves for sale. We have to keep these ATC's alive ya know!

Ohhh I'm sorry Eric, did I hurt your feelings? :( :( :( :(
Would I be that jerk you speak of?? :( :( :( :(
Funny, I've been here over 8 years now - back on the old board that I'm sure you never even saw. I've helped hundreds upon hundreds of people countless times. I've taken pictures, sent emails, reworked parts, straightened forks for free and walked people through a repair over the phone at my cost.
Why don't you do a search on my user name and go back and read some of my posts before you place judgement?
It gets just A LITTLE tiring we these toys which I adore continue to get ruined or destroyed because someone won't buy a 25$ manual. Or I buy someones part on EBAY and realize that it got smashed apart with a hammer and pryed on with a screwdriver and is now worthless.
I'll help the people that want to help themselves but for the others I suggest they get a manual first, read it and we'll work from there.
 But for now, you can hold everyones hand when I won't.

No sweat, I'm just trying to state where I'm coming from - I'm no better then anyone else.
But as a longtime member I don't want to be placed in the "waste of a post" post count, I'm truly here to learn and help, but I'm growing very tired of holding peoples hands that are ruining good parts every night in every garage because they could care less about my passion and simply want to get it running again.
