i jus had new valves put in my 110 and the intake valve dosent seal its always open a little bit to where i can see light around the edge

You may have to take it to someone who has a valve grinder, and maybe get it grinded down a little to make it fit? Just a thought.

yea ..the exhaust valve seals to much lol its still stiff a little bit lol

did you check the springs to see if they were not worn , or you may need to do a 3 angle valve job and then reseat with lapping compound . Just trying to help .

i didnt do the valve job i had a shop do it but no ill have to check that thanx

I have been told when the Valve job is done, it should hold Acetone in the chamber around the valve if it leaks its not done right.

but seeing daylight is surely not a good sign. I'd be headed back so they can fix their work.

i would go back but they said were not supossed to work on stuff oler than 94 so there is no waranty

I'd march back in there and talk to the manager and or owner.

Explain that you are well aware of the problems associated with an older machine but a valve job is a valve job and it was obviously done incorrectly.

Try being nice but if you need to get a bit more stern then so be it. Know your facts and be confident but I simply would't accept the "we can't warranty a machine that old" - That is merely an excuse to get away with ripping people off and forcing them to buy a newer machine.

ok cool i usually dont go to a stealer just because of that fact but i had a lot to do and was in a hurry ..and now its just casuing me problems
