I know that the 3 wheeler front versions have been discontinued for some time. As of late some manufactuers have recently been making willing to produce some things for the right price/minumum order.

Question are the 10" quad fronts Hoosier now produces to narrow for the 10" fatty tecate...has anyone tried this??

What were the popular sizes that people would want..I tried going thru some old mags with no luck but I am sick today so not seeing things as I normally would.

I would be interested to hear Hoosiers response to such an inquiry

The Jimmy White Replica manual calls for a Hoosier Tri-Trac front tire in your choice of 21x6x10, or 21x8x10. I personally would prefer the 8" wide front tire from Hoosier if I had to pick one, and I definitely would buy a couple of them this race season.

Bill I missed you question on the size here you go the wide front end uses a 22x11x10 the 141/4 wide front end (seems too be the standard front on the tigers) is a 20x8x10 hoosier tri trac compound t-30 I wish I could find some new hoosier tri tracs

hoosiers still makes them, just look. I have hoosiers on the front of my quad. If you have a 10" fron rim they will work on the atc's. The fronts i run are a 7 wide (not like other 7's they are wide) and i think they would strech over your front no problem.

Here's the hoosiers I run on my trx, I just picked up another one to run on a trike but I'm going to have a rim made narrower than original. These are mounted on a 5" rim, would probably work better on a trike with a 6" rim.

I know Rath Racing contacted Hoosier and had them do a run of rear tires for 9" wheels, I grabbed a set last fall for this season.

Yes Hoosier still makes them for the front of like an R (almost same size) and I believe when I asked them, they were like 65$ or so for a front. This was back when I had my flat tracker.

Hey Dale I will check my fronts tomorrow...I think all the cheng shins paired with all the wheels I have are 11" for the tigers I have. I dont have any tigers with the "fatty" front end

guys the tire thats being talked about was discountinued awhile ago. yes hoosier makes front flat track tires, the quad tires, they have the slanted tread pattern. back in the day if you ever see a pic of jimmy whites flat tracker, the tire tread was straight up and down. i dont have a pic of it on this puter, but when i get home i will post one up. totally different tire. but i am not saying the one you are all talking about wouldnt work. i just might have to try it myself.

I wonder if Hoosier or American Racer could be convinced to make a 21x7x11 front tire even if it was the normal quad tread pattern? Wouldn't be all this crap with making 10inch front wheels to run them then.

Sorry Billy,

Hoosier will only hook us Kawie riders up with the good stuff.....so 10" is all you're going to get......(just kidding).

I'd like to have the old style Tri-Trac front myself. I do remember reading, however, in a shootout between White and Denton, that Jimmy was having trouble with that front tire pushing and not hooking up. I figure on a hard smooth track it would probably work pretty good, but it seems that the looser it gets the worse it would work.

It would still be cool for a racer replica resto and the hard pack tracks.

the front tire on mine is a hoosier Tri-Trac 21x8x10. the treds are straight up and down and run the whole way around, and now is the time for Dr. Death.

Do you talk about the tire that we can see on this pictures?
But I don't know if I have the right to post it here.
