Im getting a new chain and sprockets and was wondering what would be a good brand for an o-ring chain and for the sprockets. I dont want to be too cheap but dont wabt to pay an arm and a leg.

sidewinder is a little over kill for a 200m dont ya think, you need a 520- 92 links long. and you can probley get away with a non O ring because of the chain cases, I would go with a moose for $17.95 a heavy duty RK for $25.95 or a DID for 35.95

i would go with DID, my friend has a RK on his 400ex, but the last 2 times we went riding it broke both times, but some people have good luck with them

ya want one with a high tinsle strength,, for that size motor (200) I would say a 6000 to 8000 range and that even a little high but that good

i got the heavy duty parts unlimited chain for my 200x... its got a cam and no airbox lid... i bought it, expecting it to last long enough that i can go to work in the summer and buy a REALLY good chain... it hasn't stretched much at all.. and i do plenty of holeshots.. i only adjusted it once sofar... probably only stretched 1/4 inch... and i've had it about 1 or 2 months... only 20 bucks..

sidewinder is overkill but will last forever!

I would just get a cheap 0-ring chain, they last much longer. I have an old x-ring chain thats been ran hard on 3 different machines with hardly any maintainence, and it still is decent enough to not wear my sprockets out. I have had good luck with the cheap JT steel sprockets.

jt sprockets are fine for my 200x. Ive had front and rear on for a while now and they show no wear. You dont need sidewinders for a 200 imo. I have a D.I.D gold pro chain on mine, but i got it for $20.00, but atleast i dont have to worry about it breaking.

Any o ring chain since mud kills a non oring, letting it stretch then it kills the sprockets .Any steel sprockets will do fine.
