yes it does fellas, just have to time it i put the pvl ignition on it the piston was before top dead center lined up the timing marks on the stator and rotor one kick not kidding the choke was off and it still fired up and stayed running, now the throttle seems slow insted of fast but will start up with 1-2 kicks so the timing cant be off much? how do you no if your to advanced or to retarded this is becoming fun now.hey she runs thats all i can say.new carb vforce reeds and 300ex shock for her is in the works.back brakes too.

Nice! Bet it really revs fast with that tiny PVL flywheel. Looking good!
Retarded is when the RPM's break up at topend isn't it?
I've got the carb you want right here. 38mm Mikuni TMX all setup for a 85 T3,,,only one season of riding on it. Check the classifieds. Got a T3 Vforce II cage/reeds I'd part with too.

Mine used to have a bad kick back, but it's timing was advanced. If she aint kickin back and gets with it, Your in good shape timing wise.

Great news. Looks like the Tecate camp is really getting in gear here lately.
Calling all Tecate riders...who's planning on making TF07? Would be nice to have 6 or 8 lined up all pretty in a row for pics followed by a spirited ride aroung. I have a hunch the red and yellow boys would be green with envy.

Yep, I'm in, this will be my 3rd time at tf and will be bring'in the tri-z, sx, zinger, and the newly improved 85 t3. Hopefully my recipe of components adds a little more spice to an already solid powerplant. I,ve made a few changes in chassis and cosmetics during the winter as well. In a week or two i will post pics of the NEW engine before its installed. Can't wait.
