Just curious as to what names you guys use for 3 wheelers?

I use Trike, Bike, buggy, 3 wheeler, and as a funny family joke - Tree Roller.

What do you guys call em?

Usually Three wheelers or bikes if i am reffering to the general topic. If I am talking about mine and were looking at them then they are usually my babies. If your looking at it and cant tell its a three wheeler then your an idiot. Belive it or not I have had LOTS of people around here call them four wheelers.

I know what you are talking about - many times people call mine a 4 wheeler or a quad - not because the can't count, but because they are so used to saying it and never see trikes anymore. Usually when they call mine a 5 wheeler or aquad, I just look at them and hold up 3 fingers!

I agree. I use the term bike for anything I own with handle bars. When getting specific, I use terms like: bike, 3-wheeler, qaud, or 4-wheeler. When my tecate was still a complete machine my buddies refered to it as a "wagon"...

Depends on wich one of mine I am reffering too. Usually I go for a "3-wheeler ride". For all of them collective I call them "hondas" or "3-wheelers". If I'm reffering to a specific bike I will call it my wheeler, Big Red, 200, wheeler, bike, etc...

I usually just say 3 wheeler. The other day at work I mentioned I was rebuilding my 3 wheeler and the one guy looked up with shock and started shaking his head. I asked him why he was shaking his head, he said that if I wanted to throw my life away like that, it was my choice. :lol:

Well my 81 R was known as the ugly duckling. Any R I ever get on is called the Widow Maker and the first R we ever had, had widow maker wrote on the rear fender behind the seat. But usually bike or trike.

well i have nick names for all my rides the 450r is power asisted suacide, the foreman 450es is the yellow submarine, the sx is the lil basterd that would, the othersx is the wheeliepop bike, i callalort of the 2 strokes my pingers or the trx 250r is the trx2fiddy, the drag r is what it is the drag r. the 70 is a 70 110 is what it is and so on and so forthlol

I HATE to say this but I usually call them quads, then I explain if asked.

People don't know what a trike, ATC or 3wheeler is for the most part and if they do, they ragg on them.....

It gets tiring explaining myself, my passion and love for 3wheelers. I know what they are and thats all that matters to me :)

Never used to use trike til i came on the site, now i find myself calling my atc a trike more often.
