I'm bored and the snow has finally froze enough to were you don't sink down into it when trying to ride. So I let the boy take some laps around the yard.
I'm trying to teach him to hang off the side of the trike and put his wieght to the side when turning. He's getting the hang of it little by little and I'm sure before too long he'll have it down pretty good. :D
He had old dad scared a few times going around the turns a little too fast. :naughty:

Nice clear pic's. He looks like he is doing well with it. Snow looks so nice when it's clean.
Where is the 185? Your getting like me, get excited, buy a "new" trike, then set it aside and on to the next one!
Is it just the way the pictures are or is that helmet too large for him :wondering
The 1st pic looks like his eyes are just a shade above the nose piece?

The 185 is saftly tucked away (under a snowpile) waiting on me to either find a gas tank or creem the one I have. It's been kinda put on the back burner since I brought the tri z home,, so I just let him romp around on this for the time being.
Soon it's gonna be dad's turn as I got the itch to ride. (even if it is just laps around the house) not sure if I'll sink or not though.. :w00t:
Dammit!

I was looking for a couple of the ones where it's running through water damn near up the handlebars. Where's the link to those again?

Yes.. I actually made it all the way through that one. but it stalled out shortly there after. I got it started again but it spit and sputtered all the way back to the truck. I had all kinds on gunk in the carb.
The bottom pic was out at paragon riding with FarmerC and his son. That hole was thick mud and rutted up pretty bad from quads. I got all kinds of water and muck in the crankcase after that one.
I can hardly wait till spring thaw so I can try out the new mudlites in one of the local mudholes. :naughty: :w00t:

If it wasn't, what did it take to get it running again?
Man, you must of had to flush, dry everything! Carb, brakes, diff, motor, trans, electrical connections ...........guess you don't want to do thjat too many times!

eh.. nothing a few squirts of WD-40 and a few oil changes can't cure. :D
Actually, I have a thread a few posts down about trying to remedy getting water in the motor.

Looks like your boy had a blast! I took my SX out at lunch time(I keep all my trikes, bikes, & quads at work) today & had myself a good ole time, too.
I'm hoping I can make it up your way to ride within the next 3-5 weeks or so, it depends on the JOB, of course, but I'll let you know, TGG......................

Yeah boy! throw me a pm when your ready. I've been dying to ride but with all the snow there will be no where to park the trucks without getting them stuck. Once it warms up a bit we gotta strap the ole coolers on and go out for the day. :w00t:

I'd like to invite myself along for such a fine event. I'll bring video equipment! YES!
But I may need some assistance to put video to stream.

I cannot quite get the carb tuned in on the zook. I rebuilt it but it's still running rough. Gotta mess with the airscrew a bit more to get it dialed in.
The 185 needs a gas tank or I'll probably use the original one but lost the petcock and it needs to be creemed.
I kinda thought you'd get a kick outta that comment...
Mike... as soon as some of this snow melts we'll be riding. I complained all winter about not getting any but now I want it gone.  We gotta start a thread in the riding forum so we can make plans for early spring. I can hardly wait! :Bounce
