Taking my motor out was a whoor because the bottom motor mount bolt was fn froze big time.

When I tipped the bike working on the fn bolt that was stuck this little gem fell out on the floor.

It looks like part #5 from the shift drum on bikebandit.com, but I am stuck ....

Any help would be great.

I am going tomorrow for my shift fork and gasket set, and flywheel puller so I need to be prepared for assembly.

Cheers

not sure how it could fall out but who knows. The motor got stuck in Rev. from a worn Rev R shift fork and the bearing on the bottom of the shift drum is angled with wear on the letter stamp.

here is the part I found on the cover I over looked earlier. But I did find a worn Shift Fork and Bearing on the mission

We are close now what a battle. Just have to get the part now.

So far I have

Gaskets $65
Shift Fork $60
Flywheel puller $20
Now this part and that should do it

Just might pass 250 es 101 :beer

Yep, all the automatics get hammered. The left sidecase is the first gasket that gets unsealed on the SX and ES/Red. The one pin to the lower right of your shift drum is the pin that snaps or comes loose. Be sure to check it out.

I have'nt owned an ES but the SX has a few metal shouldered collars all very similar to the one you found.

How did you yank the motor?, I hope you didn't pull the output shaft with the allen head bolts. It's best to pull off the rubber boot and slide the driveshaft back. But, if you did yank the output - I know how to get it back in correctly...

hey, that's what happens when someone runs into a tree or whatever with the shifter.

Get my parts on Saturday, have the crank switched over and assemble time is near now.

Buddy is coming by on Friday to buy my other motor so I'll have to let em know the Lever is toast too.
He only wants the block anyways...

I got the motor in and out down to a science now. The sx motor is in there now and the OEM es motor is the one all apart on the bench.
They are the same by the way except the black paint.
The SX model is the other parts
