This is where I am as of today.....waiting on parts. I'm not using that front tire, but I'm using the frame to keep some of the cleaned-up parts organized. The radiator guard is keeping the radiator company until Aussie's plates get ready.

The swinger has been extended 2", and I'm waiting for an oportunity to work on a modified stock link that will be adjustable.

Wow that thing is looking great so far! I just finished posting the first heat in the round 2 thread, and I'm in the process of uploading the 2nd heat and part of the final. I guess my camera got bumped during the final or lost battery or something because it cut off after about the 5th lap :( But I'm uploading what I have.

Cant you use the adjustable rear strut off of an 86-87 Tecate? Ad a little shine to the rear so everyone your racing can see it.:beer

Syko, man I'm ready yesterday.....wish my ride was. My axle, sprocket hub, and bearings/seals are on their way. I need to shorten up my forks, too. Hopefully things here will get back to normal so I can focus on happier things and get this finished.

Meat Box, I probably could, but I have 2 stock links, one of which has already been cut down. I have a good center adjusting bolt, just going to weld 2 grade 8 nuts onto the cut down link pieces and use locking nuts. It'll cost me all of about $5 this way.

Aussie, I believe a white one would look nice, but I'm probably going to need the lightest color screen you have to paint the same color lime green the rest of it is. I want to keep with the white number on green look.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Wow, very nice!

Shortening the forks is easy. Makes a huge difference in stance.

For the lowering link, fit nuts 3/4 of the way inside the dogbone and weld flush from the outside of it. A center adjusting bolt can easily be made from threaded rod and a nut.
