Well, here it is. I decided to put it back together before it is entirely done so I could ride it at sand mountain next week. I decided just to wait and buy a used swingarm to extend with a new carrier and axle, so it is not down for another month. The front end is just temporarily put back on so I could try to start it. I am waiting on new steering stem bearings (should arrive monday). I also need to rebuild the forks, but that will have to wait until I have more time. I have had the itch to ride it ever since I tore it apart. The sportsman 500 just is not as fun. Here are the before pics.

Here are the after. I did not have time to clean up the plastic yet.

Cool, it should rip up the sand now. Didn't you put a lightened flywheel in that?

Looks great except for that headpipe. That should get blasted and painted or replaced. Other than that it is very sharp. Nice job!!!

I have a lightened flywheel for it, however it is not in yet. I do not have the remover yet and I got too antsy to wait, so it will go in later. The frame is not powder coated, I painted it with a two part paint, it came out a whole lot better than I thought it would. I am fabricating a different exhaust using a 450r muffler, so the crappy cobra system is just temporary.
